About Slow Boat to Nova Scotia:
Formed at the end of 2015 around the talents of Zach Skovold, Isaac Taylor, Ross Mantor, and Robert Varblow, Slow Boat to Nova Scotia is a new rock group based in Thousand Oaks, California. Growing up on the sidelines of the L.A. suburbs, The Slow Boat boys came together each with their own version of what it means to be a musician when surrounded by the sons and daughters of major music stars.
Since their inception, SBNS has delivered high energy guitar and piano-driven rock jams that ring out alongside introspective and narrative-driven lyricism. Recently, Slow Boat has added keyboardist Derrick Morales to the band, and have released their debut EP, titled ‘Signal Flags’, on May 6, which is available to stream on Spotify, Bandcamp, and Soundcloud.
